The Only Guacamole Recipe You’ll Ever Need
I can’t believe I haven’t posted this recipe sooner. I was looking back in my recipe archive, and realized I never shared my guacamole recipe! Well with Cinco de Mayo right around the corner there’s no better time to share!
A good guacamole is actually very simple and contains only a few ingredients: cilantro, garlic, jalapeno and seasoning from salt pepper, and a little smoked paprika, which is really what makes this guacamole recipe shine. If you want, adding a squeeze fromย a lime will add an extra added flavor, but regardless it goes SO fast!
This goes without saying, but a good guac goes pretty much good on top of almost everything, especially Burgers, Tacos, and my favorite this Waffle Hashbrown Breakfast Sandwich! So set aside 5 minutes to prep some fresh guac to just throw on everything for the day. It’s good fat, so that makes it OKย to sit on the couch and stuff your face all day, right?!ย ????????????
If I could give any tip when making fresh guacamole, is don’t over-mix! My favorite thing about fresh guac is the chunky quality of it, rather than super smooth. It just feel more authentic, and not processed.
So on your way home stop off at the grocery store and grab yourself some fresh avocado’s and other produce to put this together with your dinner tonight. You’ll be the hero of the night and you can take all the credit, just thank me with a Facebookย share!ย ????

Oh that looks so wonderful. I could seriously lick the screen! Weird? I developed an allergy to avocados last year, I know I still cry about it, so no guac for me. I actually came up with an avocado free guacamole that I am posting tomorrow that uses asparagus and peas. Sounds weird I know, but it is actually pretty dang good. But I wish I could have yours right now!!!
Oh I love a good guacamole and your version so closely resembles my own recipes. We have a couple we switch between depending on our mood. Chunky bits in the creamy avocado is the textural difference, in my opinion, that makes the best guacamole dips.
Best food ever! and the pictures are gorgeous as well! I like to leave my guacamole a bit chunky as I think that the texture does make a difference!
Yum yum yum, totally agree – chunky guacamole is always better! Love the paprika in there for a bit of a spicy zing. So good! ๐
Guacamole is my favorite!!!
