I love this recipe because its such a cinch to make! And with Ralph’s grocery delivery, I don’t even have to leave the house.

Fried Mashed Potato balls are one of those apps that you MUST bring to fight off the hanger on Thanksgiving.

And I don’t know about your home, but in mine, the hanger is real! And as much as should be prepared, I never think to have any apps out while I’m preparing dinner, PLUS photographing it!

Could you imaging dealing with hanger, and watching your meal sitting on a flat lay for 20 minutes to be photographed? Welcome to my wife’s world…

During Thanksgiving? That’s nothing I want to be a part of. I want to make sure there’s plenty of satisfied family members and hanger levels are kept at bay!

My fried mashed potato balls are like a little preview of what’s to come for the feast. Plus, they’re just so satisfying and hearty that you won’t hear any chatter from the peanut gallery on ETAs of the big meal.

In fact, you shouldn’t hear much at all. Just a lot of full and happy mouths!

I used a variety of Kroger products that I found at Ralph’s. I love Kroger’s wide variety of quality ingredients, on top of the brands I already love, which makes Ralph’s easily my go-to for all my Thanksgiving shopping!

To make these fried mashed potato balls as simple as possible I found Kroger’s Homestyle Mashed Potatoes. They’re all ready to rock for this recipe so it makes it an easy one to throw together.

I added a little cheese and precooked bacon to the mix as well to give it that loaded baked potato vibe.

And if you’re looking for an easy dipping sauce pick up Kroger Sour Cream and Chive dip while you’re there. Or sneak a few fried mashed potato balls to the main feast and dip them in cranberry sauce or gravy. I won’t tell a soul!
