Two of my most favorite recipes combined into one: Crock Pot Chili, and Carne Asada. It’s like this recipe should have been on the blog from day one! Chili Cheese Carne Asada fries is exactly what you need on your cheat day/week/month/year. Throw your macros out the window on this one and just dig in!
You know that feeling you get when you first take a bit into something and you just close your eyes, let out a sigh and that intense euphoria feeling just wraps you like a warm blanket? Yeah. That’s exactly what these carne asada fries will do to you. Every. Single. Bite.
Carne Asada fries with chili and cheese, is really a no-brainer when it comes to cooking, and no, you don’t have to make my chili and carne asada – although it will be 10 times better! But if you have make some extra, because this is a perfect way to have them for leftovers, with a bag of frozen fries, or even making some fries from scratch!
I’m not going to lie, I SUCK at snapchat. When I decided to do a takeover on Foodbeast.com’s snap, It took everything I had to get out 4 recipes that day, and this was the grand finale. It’s definitely a new habit I need to learn to snap during recipe making – I was exhausted but learned SO MUCH on how to use snapchat it was so much fun!
Make sure you’re following me “dadwithapan” on snapchat, because I’m starting to ramp up on using it more, and share a lot of behind the scenes, and just everyday life moments just for fun. Plus you’ll get sneak peeks at future recipes up to come up on the blog!
And as for these chili cheese carne asada fries, pin it now, share on facebook, tweet it, whatever you have to do to keep it saved, do it! Because you’re going to want to make this on a lazy Sunday for the family, or just sit alone in a room and eat it all by yourself. I’m not saying that’s what I did, but…
