In the past Halloween meant finding what parties to attend and what I was going to dress up as. Now that I’m a father, it’s no longer about me and about how we can make Halloween fun for our son! But that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun too! We’ll be planning on attending Halloween parties this year, but it will be different type of parties, family parties.

So I’m expecting lots of kid-friendly snacks and drinks and I will be bringing this Sparkling Cranberry Pineapple Punch with an added twist using Canada Dry Lemon Lime Sparkling Seltzer Water.

This drink stands well on it’s own, refreshing and fruity with the pineapple coming through with hints of tartness from the cranberry. Adding Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water added anย effervescent and bubbly twist that the children will enjoy as well as the adults.

Using sparkling seltzer water over a traditional lemon-lime is also a great alternative to adding more sugar to this drink.ย Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer water is unsweetened, all natural, and zero calorie/sodium. So you’re really just adding some bubbles and extra flavor to this drink!

I thought it would be a fun Halloween twist to turn this pineapple cranberry punch really red – blood red. ย So to give it a spooky bloody look and the kids can have fun with it. Just add some red food coloring to the drink and you’re good to go!

While researching this recipe, I wanted to make sure I found the best deals on beverages I’d be using and found that Ralph’s has some awesome digital coupons that cut the cost for me! When I got to the store they’re had a section specifially for sparkling waters, and that will be where you can find the Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer water.

Preparation Tips

Save the Seltzer water for last!

If you’re making this ahead of time, or bringing to a party, don’t add the Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water just yet! Wait until you get there and then add the seltzer water so that it is nice and bubbly for everyone to drink

Add your own twist to this drink

This drink goes really well with a pineapple spear, but feel free to turn this into a scary ice cream float, or add some blood oranges to the punch bowl to add to the effect!
