Frittatas are such an easy breakfast to make, and the sky is really the limit when it comes to what you can add to them. One of my favorite things to add to eggs is chorizo and hot sauce. So why not make it into a Spicy Chorizo Frittata? It’s perfect for summer!

Speaking of which, one of my favorite things about summer that I do not to remotely close to enough of is camping. I loved camping as a kid, and my favorite things about it, even then, was the food. Pretty much everything was cooked over a grill! This recipe is no exception and is perfect for camping this season!

As one of the main headliners in this frittata recipe is El Yucateco’s Red Chile Habenero Sauce. It’s got more of a kick with less vinegar than the average hot sauce, and is made with fresh red habanero peppers, tomato, and select spices and seasonings and it is the perfect all purpose sauce for any dish like this chorizo frittata.

I used a good amount when mixing the eggs to really make this a breakfast that’d wake you, as you peak your head out of that comfy RV lumpy tent that you roughed out because you’re all about nature, and you want to really take it in!

On top of El Yucateco being an amazing hot sauce, they’re also giving you a chance to win some awesome outdoor gear this summer to go out and enjoy (along with his recipe) including a custom designed surfboard, camping packages and more! I picked mine up at Walmart in the condiment section!

Processed with VSCO with c1 presetEl Yucateco is the #1 consumer choice for habanero sauce. It is a fun flavorful brand that we all love and becomes part of our every day life. It comes in a small enough size that you can bring it wherever you go: BBQs, camp outs; I like to throw it in my wife’s purse so I can use it at our favorite restaurants!

Besides the heat from the El Yucateco, This frittata has a TON of flavor from the savory chorizo and cheese then a little texture from bell peppers. Then top it off with some green onion, or cilantro, and if you’re in some good times, add more hot sauce!

That with some coffee should have you nice and awake and ready to take on the campgrounds! So go take the family out camping, and bring this frittata recipe with you, I’ll take thank you’s in the form of social shares! ????
